Medical Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Evaluate clinical cases to ascertain the medical necessity of services for Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries.

• Ensure adherence to review policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

• Implement clinical guidelines, CMS policies, and requirements for Medicare/Medicare Advantage/Medicaid.

• Recognize opportunities for enhancements in medical management operations.

• Participate in call rotations, which include weekend and after-hours coverage.

• Foster a collaborative team environment that promotes organizational excellence.

• Provide outstanding consumer experiences.

• Assist Home Solutions and other tasks as delegated by OneHome leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO degree.

• Current, active, and continuous board certification from the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or the American Osteopathic Association Bureau of Osteopathic Specialties (AOABPS).

• National Board of Physicians & Surgeons (NBPAS) certification is not recognized.

• Possess a current and unrestricted state medical license in at least one state, with a willingness to obtain additional licenses as needed for various states in the assigned region.

• No sanctions from Federal or State Government entities.

• A minimum of 5 years of direct clinical patient care experience after residency or fellowship.

• Capability to meet credentialing standards.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet navigation.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret data clearly and accurately.

• Flexible and eager to learn new technologies to improve workflow efficiency.
