This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Conduct verification of insurance eligibility and benefits for patients.
• Follow up on accounts receivable for unpaid, denied, or delayed claims.
• Review claim statuses and liaise with insurance companies regarding billing discrepancies.
• Assist with claims follow-up, denial management, payment posting, and documentation support.
• Collaborate with payers to address outstanding balances and reimbursement issues.
• Support revenue cycle management processes to ensure timely payments and accurate billing.
• Oversee patient scheduling, appointment coordination, and calendar updates.
• Manage email correspondence, data entry, document organization, and general administrative duties.
• Facilitate patient communications and assist with front office operations.
• Ensure accurate and organized maintenance of patient and billing records.
• Work together with internal teams to resolve operational or billing-related issues.
• Provide support for additional administrative tasks as required.
• Help with provider credentialing and re-credentialing applications as necessary.
• At least 1 year of experience in medical billing, insurance verification, AR follow-up, healthcare administration, or a related field.
• Understanding of insurance payer processes and medical billing workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience with Tebra, SimplePractice, TherapyNotes, or similar EMR/EHR systems is highly preferred.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in clear spoken and written English.
• Relevant work experience is required.
• Ability to submit an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance background check prior to onboarding [mandatory].
• Availability for video meetings with the camera on (when required).
• Device: A reliable laptop or desktop computer.
• Internet: A high-speed connection (minimum 10 Mbps).
• Audio: A noise-canceling headset.
• Video: A webcam for virtual meetings.
