Medical Billing Associate – Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sri Lanka.

📋 Description

• Assist with workflows and processes related to Australian medical billing.

• Support activities involving billing data entry, reconciliation, and validation.

• Review billing information to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Help identify discrepancies and resolve issues related to billing.

• Collaborate with internal teams to assist with operational and billing tasks.

• Maintain precise documentation and records.

• Communicate in a professional manner with team members and stakeholders.

• Learn and adhere to Australian healthcare billing procedures and compliance standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree/diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

• Possess strong numerical and analytical thinking skills.

• Demonstrate high attention to detail and accuracy.

• Exhibit good logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.

• Fluent in English with strong spoken and written communication skills.

• Maintain a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

• Capable of working independently in a remote setting.

• Show strong work ethic, accountability, and reliability.

• Have basic computer skills and confidence in using systems and spreadsheets.

• Experience in finance, accounting, or operational environments is preferred but not mandatory.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets is preferred but not mandatory.

• Interest in healthcare operations or business services is preferred but not mandatory.

• Previous internship or part-time work experience is preferred but not mandatory.
