Mathematics AI Training Expert – PhD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the evolution of AI by crafting challenging mathematical problems that evaluate and enhance reasoning in state-of-the-art models.

• Create sophisticated mathematical challenges for the training and assessment of advanced AI systems.

• Develop deterministic problems that have a singular correct solution.

• Compose comprehensive, verified solutions while clearly documenting the reasoning behind them.

• Design problems that assess profound mathematical reasoning rather than mere memorization.

• Utilize Python or specialized tools to construct computational workflows where applicable.

• Guarantee that all outputs are technically accurate, reproducible, and well-articulated in English.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s or PhD in Mathematics or a related discipline.

• Significant research or industry experience in mathematical modeling, proof-based reasoning, applied mathematics, or computational mathematics.

• Proficient in Python, with familiarity in libraries such as numpy, scipy, pandas, or similar.

• A solid understanding of algorithms, numerical methods, and computational techniques.

• Capability to design original, challenging problems that reflect real mathematical processes.

• Exceptional attention to detail and technical writing proficiency in English.

• Experience with symbolic math systems, theorem provers, optimization solvers, or other mathematical software (desirable).

• Background in olympiad-level, graduate-level, or research-level problem development (desirable).

• Experience in evaluating model reasoning, benchmarking, or technical assessment creation (desirable).
