Managing Director – Head of Software Development

📋 Description

• Oversee and implement software development projects for the organization.

• Consistently deliver features using agile methodologies, aligning with business objectives.

• Foster a culture of ongoing improvement by promoting automation, metrics, and AI to enhance efficiency and business intelligence.

• Advance the maturity of SDLC processes and controls within the organization.

• Address development escalations and obstacles while ensuring alignment of solutions with corporate priorities.

• Guarantee adherence to regulatory, risk, and financial standards.

• Ensure that projects comply with data integrity, enterprise architecture, and security standards and policies.

• Manage relationships with vendors to ensure that top talent is assigned to the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in managing complex projects.

• At least 8 years of direct experience in managing a development team.

• Practical experience in transforming a department.

• PE experience is preferred.

• A background in development is essential.

• Proficient in SQL is mandatory.

• Strong operational and strategic thinking abilities.

• Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
