Manager – SAP FICO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Oversee the SAP FICO functional domain and collaborate with Business Process Owners (BPOs) and their teams to identify and prioritize the process requirements of Curtiss-Wright while supporting legacy processes and application integration.

• Design and lead the global strategy for SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling within Curtiss-Wright’s Defense Electronics segment, ensuring compliance with enterprise-wide standards and templates.

• Manage the complete SAP FICO solution architecture, which includes General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Asset Accounting, Cash Management & Treasury, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Order Accounting, Product Costing (CO-PC), Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), and Material Ledger, ensuring consistency and alignment across business units.

• Oversee the integration of SAP FICO with SAP Project Systems (PS), which encompasses project and WBS element structuring, budget management for investment measures, periodic settlement of WBS elements to Assets, and asset capitalization for project-driven and engineer-to-order (ETO) scenarios.

• Act as a consultant to business Finance and Controlling teams, providing insights on advanced SAP S/4HANA FICO functionalities and aiding in the development and maintenance of the finance systems roadmap.

• Lead the design and standardization of global templates for FICO, balancing segment-specific needs (e.g., Defense Electronics) with enterprise-wide consistency.

• Offer guidance and expertise to assist in application management processes and resolve defects within the FICO process area.

• Produce and update process and technical documentation, including functional and technical specifications as well as end-user training materials.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the SAP Finance and Controlling Module is essential.

• Experience with at least two S/4HANA implementation projects.

• A minimum of 3 lifecycle implementations in SAP, focusing on Finance and its integrations with other SAP modules.

• Strong functional expertise in SAP GL, AA, COPC, COPA, and comprehensive SAP functional knowledge (integration with other components/modules) is required.

• Proficient in SAP S/4 HANA Core and S/4 HANA Data Model, and SAP Fiori Apps.

• Familiarity with SAP Finance Data, data extraction, and data cleansing.

• Extensive experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and testing tools.

• Experience with Cognitus is preferred over other candidates.

• Exceptional time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

• Results-driven with a proven track record of leading work sessions with multiple stakeholders.
