This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.
• The SAP Manager will act as the main point of contact and internal leader for SAP ECC 6 within the company.
• Responsible for managing daily SAP support throughout the organization.
• Provide active leadership, design, configuration, and daily assistance for SAP FICO solutions.
• Serve as the primary intermediary between executive leadership, business stakeholders, IT teams, and external consulting partners.
• Oversee upgrades to the SAP system, enhancement packs, patch implementations, and support initiatives.
• Act as the key point of contact for all inquiries, incidents, and business process challenges related to SAP across the organization.
• Manage ticket prioritization, track open issues, coordinate testing, validate resolutions, and ensure timely updates and communication of next steps.
• Extensive hands-on experience with SAP ECC 6.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in providing functional support.
• A comprehensive background in SAP or ERP with a clear understanding of how essential business functions and modules interact.
• Experience in supporting business processes within an ERP setting, including insights into module dependencies, transaction flows, reporting, and integrations.
• Capability to triage SAP issues across various business sectors and recognize downstream effects across modules and integrated processes.
• Experience in managing SAP tickets, providing user support, resolving issues, and handling third-party escalations.
• Knowledge of SAP user roles and responsibilities.
• Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate with both technical and non-technical personnel.
• Proficient in translating business challenges into clear SAP support requirements.
• Working knowledge of Finance processes in SAP sufficient to align support with business needs, without requiring deep specialization in Finance alone.
