This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Build, lead, and nurture a high-performing team of CI/CD, DevOps, and Platform engineers.
• Promote a culture centered around security and operational excellence.
• Establish direction and hold the team accountable for enhancing the platforms, pipelines, and guardrails that empower developers to produce secure code.
• Ensure the team delivers and maintains automated supply chain security controls, including SCA/SAST scanning, Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) generation, artifact signing/provenance verification, and secrets detection.
• Advocate for secure and safe release practices concerning our Internal Cloud Agent infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to advance a unified vision for self-service developer portals that minimize cognitive load for engineering squads.
• Ensure the team designs and operates resilient pipelines and declarative deployment systems that facilitate safe, incremental, and highly auditable software releases at scale.
• Ensure the team applies and manages strict policy controls within the delivery space.
• Define performance and cost expectations for CI/CD infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership, product stakeholders, and security teams to define and prioritize the technical roadmap for the team.
• 5+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager, DevOps/CI/CD Manager, or in a similar technical leadership position within a cloud-native SaaS environment.
• Proven track record of leading, mentoring, recruiting, and empowering technical engineers, while driving organizational change and fostering a collaborative, highly accountable team culture.
• Demonstrated capability to lead teams operating modern CI/CD and GitOps environments.
• Proven leadership in ensuring secure software delivery in regulated or high-assurance environments.
• Comfortable engaging with security, compliance, and audit stakeholders regarding control design and evidence.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms and Infrastructure as Code to guide platform strategy, assess team designs, and ensure reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness of CI/CD infrastructure.
• Experience in tracking pipeline health and delivery metrics (such as DORA metrics: deployment frequency, lead time for changes, MTTR, and change failure rate) to promote continuous improvement.
• Strong foundational understanding of development using programming languages such as GoLang, Python, Java, or JavaScript.
