Machine Learning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and implement machine learning models and AI systems within production settings.

• Create components such as model inference services, data and feature pipelines, advanced recommendation and matching services, vision-based analysis systems, and evaluation and monitoring pipelines.

• Enhance models for optimal performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

• Develop systems that seamlessly integrate with enterprise tools and APIs.

• Produce high-quality, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code.

• Engage in architecture design and technical review processes.

• Collaborate with product, data engineering, and infrastructure teams.

• Assist in identifying significant AI use cases within portfolio companies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in software engineering, data science, or machine learning (more experience is preferred for senior positions).

• Proven experience in building and deploying production software systems.

• Strong programming proficiency in Python (experience in additional programming languages is advantageous).

• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn.

• Knowledge of contemporary AI architectures, including those based on large language models (LLMs).

• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
