Linguist, UAT Tester – Italian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Examine and refine content within LILT to maintain high linguistic standards in Italian.

• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and conduct in-context validation within the client’s CMS or product environment.

• Detect, document, and rectify in-context localization issues, such as layout overflow, text truncation, spacing discrepancies, punctuation mistakes, and other linguistic or UI-related inconsistencies.

• Ensure that Italian content appears natural, accurate, and is visually and functionally correct when showcased in actual product interfaces.

• Occasionally, directly implement approved edits within the CMS environment, adhering to established guidelines and permissions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level fluency in Italian (Italy).

• Proficient command of English for effective reporting and communication.

• Background in linguistic QA, localization testing, or UAT testing.

• Degree in linguistics, translation, languages, or a related field.

• OR 2+ years of experience in localization QA / linguistic testing.

• OR 5+ years of professional experience related to language.
