Licensed Therapist, 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality, innovative teletherapy services to Headspace patients using a HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform.

• Complete, sign, and finalize clinical case notes in the EMR system within 48 hours following each session as part of the reimbursement rate per session.

• Maintain a personalized database to track proof of licensure, updates, expiration dates, personal data, and more.

• Keep your availability calendar consistently updated.

• Collaborate with a care team that includes health coaches, fellow therapists, psychiatrists, and external care providers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in providing clinical psychotherapy to individuals, couples, or families.

• Possession of an independent clinical license to practice in good standing (without the need for clinical supervision).

• Capability to offer at least 10 sessions per week for scheduling purposes.

• Availability during nights and weekends is a plus.

• Clinical proficiency in evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness, and measurement-based care.

• Experience in risk management and handling higher acuity cases.

• Knowledge, skills, and dedication to delivering culturally responsive care.

• Familiarity and comfort with various care delivery technologies, including applications, tech tools, Google web-apps, video conferencing, and EMR systems.

• A secure location with a reliable internet connection for providing Zoom-based psychotherapy.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
