Licensed Mental Health Therapist, 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality, innovative tele-therapy services to Headspace patients using a HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform.

• Complete, sign, and finalize clinical case notes in the EMR within 48 hours following each session as part of the per-session reimbursement rate.

• Maintain a personalized database to track proof of licensure, license updates, expiration dates, personal details, and more.

• Keep your availability calendar current.

• Collaborate with a care team that includes health coaches, fellow therapists, psychiatrists, and external care providers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience delivering clinical psychotherapy to individuals, couples, or families.

• An independent clinical license to practice in good standing (without the need for clinical supervision) at either the Master’s or Doctoral level.

• BC-TMH credential if mandated by your state of licensure.

• Capability to offer at least 10 sessions per week for bookings, with the flexibility to adjust as necessary.

• Flexibility for night and weekend sessions is a plus.

• Clinical proficiency in evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness, etc.) and measurement-based care.

• Experience in risk management and handling higher acuity cases.

• Knowledge, ability, and commitment to providing culturally responsive care.

• Familiarity, comfort, and confidence with care delivery technology, including various applications, tech tools, Google web apps, video conferencing, EMR, etc.

• A safe and secure location with a reliable internet connection to provide Zoom-based psychotherapy.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
