Lead Specialist, Operational EHS – Services and Projects

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Delivering daily EHS support for site operations

• Ensuring the application of EHS Procedures during Site operations

• Defining, implementing, and overseeing EHS standards, programs, and tools

• Managing and leading Consortium projects to ensure compliance with EHS and legal obligations

• Ensuring that EHS training is conducted for employees and contractors

• Identifying Client/Contractor procedures utilized during Site operations

• Suggesting measures to reduce gaps in collaboration with the Region EHS Manager

• Organizing, documenting, and securing Safety Documentation

• Monitoring the EHS costs associated with the project

• Conducting ongoing inspections of site areas

• Assisting the Site Manager in ensuring adherence to the Project Specific EHS Plan

• Supporting compliance with the site’s disciplinary procedures and zero tolerance policy

• Offering support and guidance to site personnel

• Leading and investigating EHS incidents and facilitating the resolution of corrective actions

⛳️ Requirements

• Holder of a DOSH Green Book

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering

• Additional training and qualifications in Health and Safety Management

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in construction safety projects

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities

• Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities

• Proficient in problem analysis and resolution

• Capability to lead programs and projects
