This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.
• Responsible for the APAC institutional roadmap: outline, prioritize, and implement a multi-quarter strategy for the adoption of Solana among key service providers in the APAC region, pinpointing essential markets, target segments, and technical prerequisites.
• Executive-level technical leadership: directly interact with CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and C-level executives at banks, financial institutions, and significant fintech firms. You will be the trusted technical counterpart for strategic decision-making.
• Acting as the APAC institutional authority: serve as the leading voice on the adoption of institutional blockchain in APAC, within the organization, with ecosystem teams, and publicly at conferences and industry gatherings.
• Developing strategic partnerships: foster and sustain in-depth technical relationships with vital institutional stakeholders, regulators, and infrastructure providers across the APAC markets.
• Advocating for regional standards: identify and spearhead the adoption of standards and frameworks that address the regulatory and compliance needs specific to APAC (such as Hong Kong and Singapore).
• Facilitating tier-1 opportunities: offer hands-on technical leadership for the most critical institutional deals, collaborating directly with business development on strategic accounts.
• Fluent Mandarin speaker (mandatory).
• Strong proficiency in English communication.
• Over 7 years of software engineering experience, including at least 4 years in solutions architecture, enterprise architecture, or technical leadership roles concentrated on institutional finance or payments.
• Demonstrated success in defining and implementing technical strategies or roadmaps.
• Proven ability to influence and establish trust with C-level and VP-level executives at leading institutions.
• Extensive knowledge of institutional payment systems, correspondent banking, settlement infrastructure, or fintech platforms.
• Experience with Rust, Typescript, or other high-performance programming languages in production settings.
