Lead Software Developer – PHP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with business analysts to design, develop, and test innovative features and functionalities for our primary product.

• Partner with support analysts to pinpoint and resolve bugs.

• Create prototypes and proof-of-concept models to investigate new technologies and assess the best methods for their integration into the product.

• Write clean, reliable, and efficient code with a focus on future maintainability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• A minimum of 8+ years of industry or relevant experience, typically including at least 2 years in a similar role.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and relational database principles.

• Expert-level proficiency in PHP, MySQL, MongoDB, and RabbitMQ.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL and a solid understanding of database concepts.

• Expert-level skills in docker/containerization, Kubernetes, EKS, Helm, FluxCD, and Karpenter.

• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Experience with object-relational mappings.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
