This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Plan, engage in, and oversee a variety of audit programs
• Conduct and manage EHS compliance audits
• Conduct and lead audits for process safety management and risk management programs
• Perform and supervise supply chain due diligence and risk audits
• Execute and lead audits for waste receiving facilities
• Formulate permitting and EHS compliance strategies for client project development
• Coordinate the development and management of client EHS compliance programs for facility construction and operations
• Oversee EHS compliance tasks for clients
• Create and deliver EHS training for industrial clients
• Analyze EHS laws and regulations and devise compliance strategies
• Stay informed and communicate current and emerging USEPA, OSHA, and state EHS requirements
• Develop business presentations and proposals for EHS consulting services
• Establish and nurture client relationships
• Expand the existing business base through client outreach and professional networking
• Mentor, guide, and coach new or less-experienced staff members
• BA/BS degree plus 8 years of experience or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education
• At least 8 years of experience in conducting EHS regulatory compliance audit fieldwork
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review
• US Citizenship is required
• EHS compliance auditing experience is essential
• Strong working knowledge of Federal, State, County/Regional, and Local EHS regulations and consensus standards
• Familiarity with OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and 29 CFR 1926
• Knowledge of the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Safe Drinking Water Act, RCRA, Oil Pollution Act, EPCRA, CERCLA, FIFRA, and TSCA
• Willingness to travel 50% to 75% of the time
• Capability to obtain US Government security clearances
• Sponsorship is not available
• An advanced degree in engineering, physical sciences, safety, or a related field is preferred
• 10 years of EHS experience in professional services consulting, manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical, or refining industries is preferred
• Experience in managing EHS programs, compliance audits, and compliance program evaluations is preferred
• Background in planning and permitting development/construction projects is preferred
• Experience in developing and managing EHS compliance programs is preferred
• Experience in delivering EHS training to industrial clients is preferred
• Professional certifications such as CPEA, PE, CSP, or CIH are preferred
• Familiarity with CFATS, DOT, REACH, ISO/RC 14001, and ISO 45001 is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
