Lead Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and sustain enterprise security solutions that enhance the organization's cybersecurity posture and promote Zero Trust maturity.

• Create technical solutions to mitigate security risks, address vulnerability findings, and close security gaps during system development.

• Embed security requirements into DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines utilizing infrastructure as code.

• Manage and operate enterprise security tools, such as EDR, SIEM, web application firewalls, and vulnerability scanners.

• Construct Zero Trust solutions and elevate Zero Trust maturity using Splunk, Tenable, Tanium, and CrowdStrike.

• Develop dashboards that display security metrics and Zero Trust maturity indicators.

• Evaluate design requirements and ensure that systems are compliant with them.

• Assist in maintaining compliance with HHS requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess an industry-recognized certification: CISSP, CAP, CEH, or Security+.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in enterprise security architecture, security engineering, and system administration.

• 2 to 3 years of experience in cloud security.

• Understanding of CDM and DevOps principles, including CI/CD and infrastructure as code.

• Proficient in operating enterprise security tools like EDR, SIEM, and vulnerability scanners.

• Experience in advancing Zero Trust maturity across enterprise environments.

• Capacity to maintain a quiet, distraction-free workspace with sufficient internet for remote work.

• Availability and complete focus on job responsibilities during designated working hours.

• Ability to adhere to a schedule during core business hours that aligns with colleagues and clients.

• Must disclose any current or future outside employment commitments and secure written approval for outside employment or professional engagements.
