This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Assume complete responsibility for both High-Level and Low-Level Design (HLD/LLD) of network infrastructure, outlining and documenting the target-state architecture for WAN and SD-WAN, routing and switching standards, Data Center Interconnect (DCI), and hybrid connectivity between on-premise data centers and AWS Cloud.
• Create the target-state architecture by producing standardized LLD routing and switching templates utilized by the ETL data pipeline for automated configuration generation.
• Develop the Transition State Machine (TSM), featuring interim routing steps and temporary logical overlays necessary for the smooth migration of legacy sites, ensuring zero packet loss.
• Act as the senior escalation point during extensive rollouts, addressing complex issues arising from undocumented legacy configurations by engineering transition solutions that adhere to the established Golden Standard, and obtaining Architecture Review Board approval for any required deviations.
• Examine unsuccessful site cutovers within the rollback feedback process. Identify root causes, engineer corrective measures, and collaborate with the ETL/Automation team to ensure long-term solutions are integrated into Jinja2-based automation scripts.
• Offer technical guidance for lab validation tasks carried out by Infrastructure Analysts in AWS/EVE-NG simulation environments.
• Function as a trusted advisor to both technical and executive stakeholders, employing a consultative approach to question legacy decisions, minimize technical debt, advocate for the target architecture, and translate engineering trade-offs into clear business advantages (ROI, OPEX reduction, risk mitigation).
• Lead architecture governance as the primary technical authority during Architecture Review Board (ARB) sessions, securing design approvals, addressing cross-domain conflicts, and assisting domain architects with the preparation and quality assurance of all ARB submissions.
• Over 12 years of expert-level experience in service provider or large enterprise network architecture, holding CCIE (Routing & Switching / Service Provider) or equivalent qualifications.
• Extensive knowledge of intricate routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS), including route leaking, VRF segmentation, and SD-WAN overlay/underlay integration.
• Experience in network engineering and traffic management with global service providers, such as GTT, Cogent, and Lumen.
• Familiarity with colocation and data center environments, including Equinix (LD5/LD6) and Redcentric.
• Understanding of cloud connectivity and Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) platforms, including Equinix Fabric, Megaport, and PacketFabric.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical architecture for large-scale M&A network consolidations, including managing overlapping IP spaces (strong NAT/PAT expertise).
• Solid comprehension of scalable, template-driven network design that enables automated deployments.
• Culture of Relentless Performance: join a high-performing technology development team with a 99% project success rate and over 30% year-over-year revenue growth.
• Competitive Pay and Benefits: enjoy a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, including health insurance and a relocation program.
• Work From Anywhere Culture: take advantage of the flexibility offered by remote work.
• Growth Mindset: benefit from a variety of professional development opportunities, including certification programs, mentorship and talent investment initiatives, as well as internal mobility and internship possibilities.
• Global Impact: collaborate on significant projects for leading global clients and help shape the future of various industries.
