Lead Medical Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Creates, develops, and evaluates various types of materials for a diverse range of projects aimed at different audiences.

• Produces client-ready outputs for review that are meticulously researched, technically sound, well-articulated, visually appealing, and aligned with client goals.

• Assumes accountability for the quality of work produced by junior team members.

• Offers constructive feedback and guidance to writers at the junior level.

• Exhibits a comprehensive understanding of client briefs and poses insightful questions.

• Oversees and propels the execution of major medical conferences and meeting events.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced degree in a relevant field (PhD, MD, PharmD, etc.).

• 4–6 years of experience in medical writing within Medical Communications.

• Exceptional scientific and editorial skills.

• Proven track record of establishing strong relationships with clients and healthcare professionals (HCPs).

• Capability to critically assess outputs for scientific precision and integrity.

• Experience in coaching and developing junior writers.

• A proactive mindset and enthusiasm for exploring new initiatives.

• Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
