Lead Instructor – Computer Support Specialist, Bench Building

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the teaching of a “virtual classroom” as part of a larger program; this program can accommodate between 30 and 300 learners (with the possibility of even more, depending on the program); instructional responsibilities include:

• Deliver lectures at the specified dates and times mentioned above

• Preparation time:

• Experienced LI: 30 minutes of preparation for each lecture

• New LI: 1 hour of preparation for each lecture

• Collaborate with Correlation One operations staff to effectively fulfill class duties and maintain the schedule

⛳️ Requirements

• A highly skilled educator with a strong enthusiasm for teaching and supporting others

• A degree in a Computer Science-related discipline and/or relevant industry experience in a computer specialist role; advanced degrees and research experience at prestigious institutions are significant advantages

• Excellent team leadership and interpersonal skills

• Knowledge of the following subjects:

• Fundamentals of computer hardware and software

• Operating systems

• Networking – VPN, security, remote access

• Cybersecurity – anti-virus measures

• Cloud computing

• The future of IT
