This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Lead and manage the design, development, and implementation of automated testing strategies and frameworks.
• Direct a team of test and quality automation engineers by guiding them in automation and build automation strategies.
• Establish and uphold best practices for test automation and quality assurance.
• Conduct evaluations of automation tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to outline test automation goals and objectives.
• Ensure automated tests are integrated into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Partner with DevOps teams to embed automated tests into the continuous integration and delivery workflow.
• Oversee and report on test automation metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Drive continuous improvement in test automation processes and standards for tools.
• Lead innovation initiatives, including those involving AI.
• Create and develop training materials while providing training to team members.
• Document training resources and conduct training sessions on automation tools and frameworks.
• Act as a subject matter expert for quality automation engineers, offering guidance, direction, and prioritization of tasks for the team.
• Perform manual testing as required.
• 7-10 years of experience in testing.
• 4-5 years of experience in automation testing or equivalent training in automation.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and mentoring test automation teams.
• Strong expertise in the Java programming language (Core concepts).
• Extensive experience with test automation tools and frameworks, including Selenium, Karate, JUnit, and TestNG.
• Excellent proficiency in test automation tools, particularly Karate.
• Strong experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and tools.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter and LoadRunner is desirable.
• Preferred experience in an AWS cloud environment is an advantage.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
