This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Serve as the Technical Lead within a development squad, directing the design and implementation of new features.

• Collaborate effectively with Product Managers and UX Designers to clarify requirements and develop solutions.

• Create and sustain high-quality, scalable software utilizing PHP and related technologies.

• Provide support and mentorship to developers within the team, enhancing coding standards and best practices.

• Participate in architectural decisions to ensure consistency with the broader platform strategy.

• Engage with both front-end and back-end systems to deliver comprehensive end-to-end solutions.

• Promote agile methodologies and contribute to the team's continuous improvement efforts.

• Ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of all code outputs.

• Utilize version control systems (Git/GitHub) to effectively manage codebases.


⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in PHP, with a robust understanding of design patterns.

• Demonstrated experience in a full development environment (approximately 3+ years).

• Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, Elasticsearch, Redis).

• Capable of working within cross-functional teams alongside Product and UX personnel.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.

• Proficient in using Git and GitHub for version control.

• **Desirable but not essential:**

• Experience in an Agile environment.

• Exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue.js).

• Understanding of web design principles and contemporary web technologies.

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
