Lead Deployment Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Guide and nurture team members at all levels by offering coaching, candid feedback, and direct discussions that facilitate professional and technical growth.

• Establish yourself as the primary expert on Mashgin's hardware, software, and deployment systems, serving as a dependable resource for the team, customers, and internal stakeholders.

• Take ownership of and enhance standard operating procedures, pinpointing effective practices, areas for improvement, and processes that require development from the ground up.

• Act as a consistent and reliable link between the team and cross-functional partners, including Product, Engineering, and vendors, highlighting ongoing issues and ensuring the appropriate parties are informed.

• Be prepared to travel up to 25% of the time to facilitate new location launches and provide support to customers nationwide.


⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in a leadership or management position, with at least 6 direct reports, preferably in a technical, field operations, or customer support setting.

• You have progressed through the ranks, performing the hands-on tasks and leading based on that experience rather than circumventing it.

• Proven track record of coaching and developing team members, including engaging in direct and constructive discussions with individuals who are well-regarded or resistant to feedback.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, including occasional last-minute deployments.

• A self-motivated individual who makes informed decisions independently and requires minimal oversight to remain on course.

• Residing in or near a major airport in the West Coast or Central time zone — preferred locations include Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Denver, Phoenix, Los Angeles, and the Bay Area.
