Lead Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovakia.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the conceptual design, architecture, and technical solutions utilizing diverse technologies and relevant vendors.

• Ensures the realization, implementation, and functionality of the developed solutions.

• The position encompasses consultancy for potential customers during the presales phase, analyzing customer requirements, transforming these needs into technical specifications, and assessing production costs.

• Additionally, guides an international team of experts to deliver solutions and define SLA specifications, including the transition and transformation phase for handing over solutions to support and operational delivery units.

• Design and implement scalable and secure Data Center solutions, covering compute, storage, and networking components.

• Architect and optimize virtualized environments utilizing VMware products (vSphere, vCenter, NSX, vSAN, etc.).

• Develop thorough network designs that ensure high availability, performance, and compliance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that infrastructure aligns with application requirements and business objectives.

• Provide technical leadership during incidents, troubleshooting complex infrastructure challenges and facilitating resolution.

• Establish best practices and standards for infrastructure design, deployment, and management.

• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to enhance infrastructure capabilities and performance.

• Document infrastructure architecture, configurations, and operating procedures for future reference and audits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess skills in HCI and Private Cloud.

• Have a strong foundation in Primary Hyperconverged Infrastructure based on VMware VCD and Nutanix NCP.

• Hold expertise in Advanced VMware and Nutanix platform engineering.

• Demonstrate hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform, Infrastructure-as-Code, and multi-vendor network automation.

• Familiarity with Ansible and SD-Wan.

• A solid technical foundation with a deep understanding of cloud platforms.

• Capable of designing scalable, secure, and cost-effective architectures.

• Understand networking, security, IAM, automation, and DevOps practices.

• Able to translate business requirements into architectural designs.

• Proficient in managing ambiguity and adapting to change.

• Excellent collaboration and influence skills.

• Have 5-7 years of experience in infrastructure/network engineering.

• Experienced with 4+ years in advanced automation delivery.
