Land Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Initiate and cultivate relationships with landowners to secure a long-term land agreement for renewable project development.

• Assist in acquiring fully executed documents, including land leases, land purchases, collection and transmission line easements, access road easements, title curative instruments, and crossing agreements.

• Collaborate with regional teams to execute land acquisition campaigns and negotiate contracts with landowners and/or their attorneys.

• Provide data to the Manager of Land Acquisition for weekly updates.

• Conduct stakeholder meetings and maintain relationships throughout the land acquisition process.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least two years of experience in land acquisition is required.

• RL, RPL, or CPL certification from the American Association of Professional Landmen is preferred.

• A local Notary license is preferred, or the candidate must have the ability to obtain one.

• Candidates must reside in the Northeast region of the U.S.

• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time is necessary.
