This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +3 more states.
β’ Serve as a trusted advisor for enterprise clients, assisting them in the design, validation, and implementation of vKS solutions on VCF.
β’ Work closely with field account teams to ensure solution architecture aligns with customer priorities and achieve successful engagement outcomes.
β’ Facilitate technical discovery sessions, workshops, and proof-of-concepts to validate vKS architectures and showcase business value.
β’ Collaborate with sales teams to co-develop customer proposals that meet modernization objectives, workload placement, and operational transformation needs.
β’ Offer prescriptive guidance on adopting Kubernetes, integrating DevOps/CI-CD, and addressing enterprise requirements such as scalability, security, and disaster recovery.
β’ Create and share reference architectures, deployment patterns, and technical resources to enhance customer adoption of vKS.
β’ Present clear and engaging technical presentations to a variety of audiences, ranging from architects to executive decision-makers.
β’ Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and changing enterprise requirements to effectively position vKS.
β’ Work in conjunction with product management and engineering to provide field insights that shape roadmap direction.
β’ Background in application engineering or technical sales within enterprise IT, cloud, or application platforms.
β’ Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes, containers, and VMware Cloud Foundation (including vSphere, vSAN, NSX as the foundation).
β’ 8β10+ years of experience in technology-related roles, with a focus on enterprise IT architecture, application modernization, or cloud-native platforms.
β’ Proven track record of working directly with enterprise customers to deliver technical solutions and promote platform adoption.
β’ Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation abilities, capable of engaging both technical and business leaders.
β’ Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
β’ Demonstrated ability to identify challenges, design solutions, and convey value in business terms.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
