Junior/Senior SAP IS-U Consultant, Energy Industry

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assist clients in digitizing their essential processes.

• Gather and organize functional requirements from energy suppliers while creating technical target concepts.

• Analyze, assess, and design business processes related to billing, invoicing, market communication, and device management.

• Configure and enhance SAP IS-U independently, while actively contributing to transformation initiatives toward SAP S/4HANA Utilities.

• Assume (partial) project responsibilities, including resource planning, milestone tracking, and stakeholder management for all relevant parties.

• Conduct functional testing, prepare documentation, and support user training initiatives.

• Create and develop user-friendly applications, ensuring integration with existing SAP system landscapes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience in the SAP IS-U domain at an energy supplier, energy service provider, or in IT/SAP consultancy.

• Bachelor's degree in (business) informatics/computer science, business administration, or a similar qualification with a focus on IT or energy.

• Strong understanding of IS-U core processes, particularly in billing, market communication, and FI-CA.

• Initial hands-on experience in (partial) project leadership and familiarity with both agile and traditional project management methodologies.

• Excellent analytical skills, outstanding communication abilities, and a confident, professional demeanor in client interactions.

• Proficient in German (minimum C1 level).
