Junior IT, Compliance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of contact for daily IT inquiries

• Install, configure, and provide support for employee hardware, software, and accounts

• Collaborate with remote staff, vendors, and contractors

• Acquire and provision hardware, overseeing asset inventory

• Assist in evidence gathering and control testing to meet compliance requirements

• Keep precise, audit-ready documentation

• Occasionally provide support during after-hours maintenance periods

⛳️ Requirements

• Enthusiasm for computer systems, along with a strong eagerness to learn and advance in the IT sector.

• Effective written and verbal communication abilities, demonstrating patience and empathy;

• Proactive and organized in a remote setting, with excellent time management and follow-through skills.

• Understanding of basic SOC 2, GDPR, and PCI principles

• A degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline, along with professional experience and certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Security+ are advantageous.
