Junior Integration Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Assist in the execution of client integrations with Monato’s platform, encompassing APIs and operational workflows.

• Support clients throughout sandbox testing, request validation, and the go-live phases.

• Evaluate integration workflows to pinpoint friction points, recurring challenges, and areas for enhancement.

• Diagnose API behavior and assist in resolving integration-related issues.

• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to address technical obstacles.

• Engage in discussions regarding integration enhancements and best practices for implementation.

• Take part in post-mortem reviews for incidents associated with integrations.

• Help recognize patterns and feedback that can enhance product reliability and the developer experience.

• Examine logs, API requests, and technical documentation to comprehend and resolve issues.

• Develop and maintain documentation, integration manuals, and internal playbooks.

• Ensure clarity and accessibility of information for both clients and internal stakeholders.

• Continuously enhance operational processes related to implementations and integrations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.

• Advanced proficiency in English (both written and spoken).

• Basic programming skills (Python, SQL, or similar).

• Knowledge of APIs and system integrations.

• Capability to interpret technical documentation and analyze logs.

• Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets.

• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman is advantageous.

• Understanding of REST APIs.

• Knowledge of JSON and HTTP Requests.

• Proficiency in Python or scripting languages for debugging and automation.

• Familiarity with SQL for basic analysis and troubleshooting.

• Experience with Postman and API testing tools.

• Knowledge of logs and monitoring tools.

• Proficiency in Google Sheets / Excel for operational analysis.

• Understanding of payment flows and fintech infrastructure.
