Junior Graphic Designer, Marketing Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Develop captivating graphic designs for social media, marketing initiatives, presentations, and digital assets.

• Assist with the visual content requirements for photography-related projects and promotional materials.

• Support influencer outreach efforts, which includes researching creators, sending outreach communications, and monitoring responses.

• Maintain essential outreach and contact lists, manage follow-ups, and provide status updates.

• Perform additional virtual assistant and administrative tasks as needed (e.g., scheduling, organization, and basic research).

• Aid in basic sales or partnership activities, such as preparing materials or assisting with follow-ups.

• Help ensure that digital files, assets, and workflows are well-organized.

• Collaborate with the founder and team to address daily business requirements.

• Contribute creative ideas and foster a positive, startup-oriented work environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience (or substantial practical knowledge) in graphic design or visual content creation.

• Proficiency in fundamental design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar applications.

• Strong organizational and administrative capabilities, with a keen eye for detail.

• Ability to manage multiple small tasks in a dynamic startup atmosphere.

• Excellent written communication skills and confidence in reaching out to influencers or partners.

• Prior remote work experience is essential, with familiarity in remote collaboration tools like Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana, or similar; candidates must have experience working with US- or UK-based companies—applications without this experience will not be reviewed.
