Junior Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee, enhance, and refine analytical models for power price analysis and forecasting, as well as pricing risks associated with power purchase agreements, PV + BESS optimization, and more.

• Provide data analysis to support commercial negotiations (e.g., PPA) for both short-term and long-term offtake agreements.

• Regularly report market trends and pertinent metrics to ib vogt management.

• Offer ad-hoc analytical support as needed, which includes the development of additional models and tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or Mathematics; a Master’s degree is an advantage.

• A solid understanding of energy market dynamics and energy generation technologies.

• Proficiency in Python, Matlab, R, or other programming languages.

• A strong commercial and proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative across various tasks.

• Capability to effectively engage with multiple roles and foster relationships both internally within the organization and externally with clients.

• Financial and analytical skills in pricing and risk management would be beneficial.

• Languages: Proficient in English (native speaker or excellent command), additional languages are a plus.
