Junior Cloud Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Continuously monitor cloud environments around the clock utilizing monitoring and observability tools.

• Assess and categorize alerts, determining their severity and impact.

• Implement first-level (L1) procedures as per established runbooks.

• Refer incidents to L2 and L3 teams as needed.

• Log and document all incidents using an ITSM tool.

• Oversee NOC operational SLAs and KPIs.

• Engage in shift transitions to ensure seamless operational continuity.

• Aid in the creation and updating of runbooks and technical documentation.

• Relay the status of critical incidents to relevant stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fundamental understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or Azure).

• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Datadog, CloudWatch, Grafana, or similar.

• Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS).

• Willingness to work a 12x36 shift schedule.

• Strong communication skills for logging incidents and managing escalations.

• Basic SQL skills for executing simple queries.

• Previous experience in NOC or L1 technical support is advantageous.

• Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk) is beneficial.

• Understanding of ITIL (incident and problem management) is a plus.

• Ongoing technical or university studies in IT, Networking, or related fields are favorable.

• Basic cloud certifications (AWS Cloud Practitioner, AZ-900) are beneficial.

• Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows Server is an advantage.
