Junior BackEnd Developer, C# / .NET Core

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create BackEnd services using C# / .NET Core with guidance

• Resolve defects in BackEnd applications

• Engage in the development or integration of REST APIs

• Participate in unit and integration testing

• Assist with application maintenance tasks

• Contribute to the creation of technical documentation

• Implement development standards and best practices

• Work collaboratively with senior developers, analysts, and architects

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years and up to 8 years of experience in IT

• Proficiency in C# / .NET Core development

• Understanding of REST APIs and database systems

• Interest in cloud technologies and DevOps practices

• Quick learner with the ability to thrive in a team environment

• Commitment to thorough testing, documentation, and code quality

• Familiarity with C#, .NET Core, and REST APIs

• Experience with Git or similar version control systems

• Knowledge of unit and integration testing methodologies

• Basic understanding of databases

• Awareness of BackEnd development best practices

• Exposure to Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD processes

• Experience with Azure API Management and Azure Service Bus

• Knowledge of Cosmos DB, SQL Server, or NoSQL databases

• Basic understanding of microservices architecture

• Experience working in Agile methodologies

• Placement may be in a contract role or resource pool, based on client requirements

• Mainly remote work with the ability to coordinate based on requests for intervention
