Junior Accounting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Prepare individual, quarterly, and annual financial statements by extracting data from the ERP system and compiling it in a specialized spreadsheet, adhering to international accounting standards and organizational deadlines;

• Provide guidance to other departments on accounting and corporate law matters to ensure accurate recording of company transactions through analyses and recommendations from an accounting viewpoint;

• Conduct monthly validation of accounting balances recorded in the trial balance by reconciling ERP records and ensuring entries comply with accounting standards and company policies;

• Execute monthly and annual calculations for corporate income tax and social contributions using specialized tax software, in line with current legislation;

• Prepare and submit ancillary declarations such as ECF (Tax Accounting Bookkeeping), SPED Contábil (Public System of Digital Bookkeeping), CBE (Brazilian Capitals Abroad), CIAP (ICMS Control of Fixed Assets), and IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics), by generating information from the ERP and validating obligations in governmental systems and official programs;

• Oversee the billing of common expenses among InBetta companies by preparing corporate debit notes in accordance with company policies;

• Offer guidance to various departments on accounting treatments through analyses and recommendations of activities;

• Assist in financial accounting projects by supporting project activities, conducting tests in the quality environment, and delivering training to internal and external teams;

• Advise different areas on accounting matters through analyses and recommendations, conducting audits and rectifying processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field;

• Intermediate-level skills in Excel;

• Experience in Accounting positions;

• Preferred: Experience with SAP.
