Java Technical Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop, articulate, and implement the technical strategy for backend development utilizing Java.

• Work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams on architectural and design choices.

• Create and execute API specifications in alignment with OpenAPI standards.

• Uphold code quality through reviews and testing frameworks.

• Ensure systems are scalable and efficient, proactively resolving any issues.

• Foster ongoing enhancements in development methodologies and practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience in backend development with Java 21 or higher.

• Proficiency in Spring ecosystem frameworks: Spring Boot, Spring Data.

• Proven experience in Hexagonal Architecture and Microservices Architecture.

• Experience in designing APIs with an API First approach (OpenAPI / Swagger).

• Solid understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, Clean Code, as well as Domain Driven Design (DDD) and TDD principles.

• Demonstrated experience with Apache Kafka and messaging systems like ActiveMQ.

• Experience working with OpenShift / Kubernetes, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and tools such as GitHub and Spinnaker.

• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools: Grafana and Dynatrace.

• Use of code quality tools: SonarQube.

• Strong background in unit testing and integration testing.

• Utilization of AI throughout the product lifecycle (development → deployment).
