Java IVR Application Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain IVR applications based on both business and technical specifications.

• Integrate IVR solutions with essential internal services.

• Monitor IVR systems and implement operational enhancements to improve the customer experience.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the voice contact center and IVR environments.

• Collaborate with project managers to ensure solutions are delivered on time and meet quality standards.

• Work autonomously while supporting a regional business unit that aligns with global objectives.

• Engage in forward-thinking initiatives aimed at enhancing call steering and IVR architecture.

• Clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of professional software development experience, primarily focused on Java.

• Proficient in Java programming, particularly in Java EE and Spring Boot / Spring Core.

• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and design patterns.

• Experience with SQL for application configuration and data-driven logic.

• Practical experience in designing and developing microservices and distributed systems.

• Hands-on experience in cloud platform engineering, preferably with AWS.

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.

• At least 1 year of foundational experience with Golang, including the ability to develop functionalities.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, particularly in investigating production issues.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Capable of working independently in a fast-paced, global environment.
