This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and periodic IT and security checklists, emphasizing Google SecOps/Chronicle monitoring.
• Execute health checks across GCP infrastructure, SaaS applications, and security tools (alerts, compliance, CI/CD pipelines).
• Diagnose security or infrastructure issues, document resolutions, and initiate follow-up actions.
• Collaborate with DevOps and InfraOps teams on platform-level and security-related challenges.
• Recognize and suggest security and platform enhancements as you acquire business knowledge.
• Implement automation, security tools, and platform improvements to fortify cloud and SaaS environments.
• Contribute to scripts, dashboards, and operational enhancements with a focus on security and compliance.
• Provide insights from daily operations to inform long-term IT security and operational strategy.
• Occasionally assist with IT support tasks across systems, hardware, and software.
• Effectively prioritize tasks and synchronize timelines with stakeholders.
• Demonstrable experience in IT and security operations within cloud infrastructure (GCP) and SaaS settings.
• Practical knowledge of Google SecOps/Chronicle for threat detection and incident response.
• Strong grasp of identity and access management (Okta), including concepts such as SSO/MFA, SCIM, and RBAC.
• Familiarity with automation platforms (Zapier, N8N) and scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python) to optimize tasks and enhance security operations.
• Experience in managing and integrating enterprise SaaS applications in a security-focused environment.
• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or a willingness to learn.
• A thoughtful and empathetic approach to end-user support across globally distributed teams.
• Hands-on experience in managing laptop fleets (macOS and ChromeOS).
