IT Security Expert – Incident Response, DLP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Overseeing and addressing security incidents within the SIEM, while continuously enhancing alerting and detection mechanisms.

• Development, implementation, and management of DLP solutions to safeguard sensitive information.

• Providing guidance to internal teams on IT initiatives with an emphasis on security requirements.

• Identifying information that needs protection and establishing suitable measures to secure it.

• Advancing security monitoring to facilitate the early identification of emerging threats.

• Maintaining and fine-tuning rule sets in both SIEM and DLP systems.

• Conducting audits and generating reports to evaluate security measures.

• Planning and overseeing IT security projects.

• Assisting with awareness initiatives and training related to information security.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in an IT-related discipline or an equivalent qualification (e.g., IT specialist with relevant experience).

• Several years of hands-on experience in IT security, particularly in incident response, with a preference for penetration testing experience.

• Strong understanding of Windows, Linux, and network environments.

• A structured, independent, and solution-focused approach to work.

• A high degree of commitment and initiative.

• Proficient in both German and English languages.
