IT Project Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with IT Portfolio Leaders in Finance, Legal, and Human Resources to create strategies and capture demands.

• Create and publish roadmaps, ensuring the successful implementation of IT enablement initiatives.

• Oversee and coordinate IT projects from initiation to delivery.

• Manage project plans, milestones, schedules, risks, dependencies, and resolve issues.

• Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding of projects and conduct regular project meetings.

• Assist in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.

• Monitor progress, manage scope, document decisions, and maintain accurate project artifacts throughout the project lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; 12 years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree.

• Proven experience in leading IT projects and/or coordinating complex technical initiatives in a fast-paced environment, utilizing AI and modern IT project management methodologies such as iterations, agile-at-scale, and/or forward-deployed engineering.

• Experience in managing IT projects that support Finance, Legal, and/or Human Resources functions.

• A consultative mindset with robust advisory and problem-solving abilities, dedicated to customer success.

• Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization capabilities.

• Capability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, including root cause analysis and issue resolution.

• Experience in handling multiple priorities, deadlines, and dependencies concurrently.

• High attention to detail and the ability to maintain project documentation and reporting accurately.

• Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration and accountability across teams.
