This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Reporting to the Manager of Application Development, collaborating closely with the IT Customer Experience Team.
• Engage directly with users, business analysts, and other IT team members to comprehend requirements, evaluate needs, and propose solutions across various functions.
• The developer will primarily handle Salesforce-related requirements testing and post-deployment support.
• Responsible for the design, construction, and development of new software applications utilizing the Salesforce (CSP) Platform across different environments, including on-premise, cloud, and hybrid applications.
• Develop high-level frameworks that align the organization's IT infrastructure with business processes and data to enhance efficiency and productivity in business operations.
• Investigate and create solutions and applications across functional areas that encompass cloud, on-premise, and hybrid architectures.
• Foster strong partnerships and collaboration with Sales, Service & Repair, Marketing, and Customer Service business units to ensure the effective use and adoption of Salesforce.
• Support projects and initiatives aimed at deploying new functionalities and/or enhancing existing features.
• Conduct code reviews and optimize APEX code while performing testing.
• Generate technical design documents based on functional designs and troubleshoot using debugging skills.
• Document, refine, and prioritize business requirements, conducting knowledge transfer as necessary.
• Map requirements to functionalities within Salesforce and its adjacent ecosystem.
• Coordinate with Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Platform leads to complete impact assessments and ensure cross-functional alignment.
• Collaborate with the development team to verify that solutions will fulfill business requirements.
• Create test cases and test scripts to support the testing plan.
• Oversee user acceptance testing, reporting, and defect prioritization in collaboration with business leads.
• Provide regular support for end users regarding support tickets in accordance with IT SLAs.
• Conduct knowledge transfer and training with team members and business units whenever appropriate.
• Adhere to and contribute to internal processes, procedures, and policies, while also expanding internal knowledge on Salesforce functionalities utilized by the organization.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce development.
• Extensive experience with Salesforce development tools and techniques, including APEX, Force.com custom development, triggers, controllers, Force.com SOAP, REST APIs, JSON, and the creation of Visualforce pages.
• Proficiency in building Lightning Aura Components.
• Familiarity with web-based technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Einstein Analytics, and Experience Cloud.
• Knowledge of Salesforce's native functions (Process Builder, Flow, Reports and Dashboards, Permissions, etc.).
• Experience in building or modifying Customer and Partner Communities.
• Salesforce Developer certification(s) are preferred.
• Experience in database modeling.
• Proven experience supporting the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process, which includes requirements gathering, testing, and releasing Salesforce solutions.
• Understanding of integration points with third-party systems, such as SAP or ServiceNow, is desired.
• Familiarity with middleware functionalities, such as Boomi or Mulesoft, is desired.
• Experience in maintaining and configuring Salesforce AppExchange packages.
• Experience with Salesforce CPQ.
• Familiarity with Agile project methodologies and project management tools like JIRA.
• Ability to perform process decomposition, root cause analysis, gap analysis, and technical requirements definition.
