IT Auditor I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct Information Technology audits to verify adherence to external regulations and internal policies.

• Relay audit results to various stakeholder groups.

• Collaborate with team members and IT to establish audit objectives, scopes of engagement, and testing methodologies.

• Support the planning, execution, and reporting of IT audit engagements, encompassing SOX ITGC testing, risk-based technology reviews, and validation of issues.

• Aid in the departmental risk assessment processes through qualitative and quantitative analysis of auditable entities.

• Analyze and consolidate data to uncover control weaknesses, process inefficiencies, and instances of noncompliance.

• Utilize data analytics to examine large datasets, detect anomalies, and boost audit efficiency and coverage.

• Track audit findings and conduct validation testing of remediation plans.

• Present remediation progress to stakeholders.

• Discover opportunities to enhance controls, increase operational effectiveness, and minimize risk exposure across technological and business processes.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and professional experience.

• Up to 2+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Skills in collaboration and relationship-building.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Ability to learn quickly.
