ISO 42001 Compliance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Lead and manage Box’s annual ISO Certification initiative for AIMS in accordance with ISO 42001.

• Develop and oversee the AIMS program, evaluating the effectiveness of AI Governance in collaboration with internal teams.

• Conduct external audits with third-party auditors while maintaining strong relationships.

• Work across various frameworks and regulatory standards, including but not limited to ISO, PCI, NIST, and AICPA SOC.

• Drive enhancements in current processes and create new, innovative, and efficient solutions.

• Identify and communicate gaps to management, facilitating cross-functional team meetings to address and resolve control deficiencies.

• Monitor compliance issues and ensure follow-up actions are taken.

• Cultivate relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Clearly and effectively communicate our compliance status and programs to internal and external audiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience leading and conducting ISO 27001 audits or in a comparable technology and compliance role focused on managing security audits.

• Familiarity with GCP cloud computing, AI architectures, data governance, and model validations.

• Possession of security and compliance certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CIA, and CISM.

• Ability to articulate complex requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.

• In-depth knowledge of at least two or more of the following compliance frameworks: ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, ISO 42001, PCI, SOC, NIST 800-53.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Exceptional written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.

• Willingness to take on various roles and assist in diverse areas as needed.

• Outstanding organizational abilities with a strong drive to excel in a fast-paced environment.
