ISO 27001 Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• The ISO Analyst plays a crucial role in assisting audit and assurance teams with ISO 27001 certification evaluations and related information security audits.

• Under the guidance of an Auditor, Lead Auditor, or Manager, the ISO Analyst contributes to audit planning, evidence assessment, report preparation, and overall quality control.

• This position demands a keen eye for detail, strong communication abilities, and a basic understanding of management systems and information security concepts.

• Knowledge of organizational structures, governance, and workplace practices.

• Familiarity with information and data systems, documentation systems, and IT fundamentals.

• Understanding of audit principles, practices, and techniques in alignment with ISO standards.

• Awareness of management system standards and normative documents necessary for certification.

• Insight into Certification Body (CB) processes and procedures.

• Comprehension of industry terminology, practices, and expectations relevant to the client’s sector.

• Knowledge of common products, processes, and operations across various industries to grasp client context.

• Ability to apply management system requirements to different organizational types.

• Familiarity with ISMS-specific documentation structures and their interconnections.

• Proficiency in information security management tools, methods, and techniques.

• Understanding of information security risk assessment and risk management principles.

• Knowledge of ISMS processes and contemporary information security technologies.

• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 27001 requirements and implementation principles.

• Awareness of ISO/IEC 27002 controls (and sector-specific standards if applicable).
