Interpreter, Russian/English

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Accurately translate concepts and meanings between Russian and English, ensuring complexity, clarity, tone, and style are preserved across both languages.

• Adhere to proper grammar and syntax rules in both languages.

• Deliver precise renditions of messages, capturing every detail of the conversation.

• Follow customer instructions, manage the call flow, and refrain from dominating the conversation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Residence Card in Portugal or EU Passport.

• Bilingual proficiency in Russian and English (C1 Levels for both languages).

• High School Diploma (mandatory).

• Education in languages, translation, interpretation, or related fields (preferable).

• Exceptional listening, retention, and note-taking skills to ensure high accuracy.

• Capability to clarify certain cultural concepts to prevent miscommunication, with customer permission or upon request.

• Ability to focus, remain detached from the conversation, and consistently uphold neutrality and objectivity.

• Dependable, self-sufficient, and highly disciplined.

• Confident and well-organized.

• Strong time management skills with a high sense of responsibility.

• Competence in working towards performance goals.
