This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Oversee the company's global transfer pricing policies, documentation, and compliance to guarantee alignment with international standards and local regulations.
• Supervise and evaluate the preparation and submission of intricate international calculations, tax returns, and associated forms for FDII, GILTI, FTC, Subpart F, and BEAT (e.g., Forms 5471, 8858, 1118).
• Track modifications in international tax laws and regulations, assess and model their effects on the Company's tax strategies and policies, and communicate findings to leadership and key stakeholders in both verbal and written formats.
• Prepare and assess quarterly and annual foreign income tax provision calculations, memos, account reconciliations, and disclosures in compliance with ASC 740 (US GAAP), IFRS, or other local reporting standards.
• Manage non-US income tax compliance and reporting by overseeing the global tax filing calendar, ensuring coordination of filings with local accounting and tax advisors.
• Recognize and assist in maximizing international tax incentives and credits, including Canadian SRED and e-business credits.
• Support M&A due diligence, post-acquisition integration, and planning for global tax and legal entity structures.
• Collaborate with the treasury team to ensure efficient management of global cash pools, including planning and analysis regarding tax implications of cross-border cash transactions.
• Provide assistance on corporate, financial, and tax strategic initiatives and projects.
• Help coordinate and manage local country tax audits and inquiries from various tax authorities, both domestic and international.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive tax experience.
• At least 2-3 years of international tax experience.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in public accounting or a multinational corporation's tax department.
• Strong understanding of US international tax regulations, including GILTI, FDII, foreign tax credits, CbC reporting, OECD guidelines, digital service taxes, and VAT.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and project management abilities.
• Advanced organizational, analytical, and research skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Experience with tax provision software is advantageous (e.g., OneSource Tax Provision).
