Intermediate Full-Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Full-Stack Development

• Create and maintain contemporary, responsive front-end applications utilizing React

• Develop and improve RESTful APIs using Python (Flask or similar frameworks)

• Design, optimize, and manage database structures and queries

• Produce clean, scalable, and thoroughly tested code

• Product & System Development

• Assist in the development of core platform features and business logic

• Implement document processing functionalities (PDF, Excel, Word)

• Integrate third-party and AI-powered APIs

• Diagnose issues and enhance overall system performance and reliability

• DevOps & Team Collaboration

• Engage in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical discussions

• Facilitate CI/CD processes and deployment pipelines

• Operate within containerized environments (Docker)

• Work closely with developers and stakeholders to provide high-quality solutions

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 – 5 years of experience as a Full-Stack Developer

• Strong proficiency in React (hooks, state management, modern JavaScript)

• Solid experience with Python (Flask, Django, or FastAPI)

• Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)

• Good understanding of API design, authentication, and system architecture

• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design

• Experience using Git and adhering to version control best practices

• Exposure to Docker and fundamental DevOps concepts

• Comfortable working in Linux environments

• Nice to Have: Experience with TypeScript

• Exposure to AI/ML or third-party API integrations

• Experience with data processing tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy)

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

• Previous experience in a startup or scaling environment
