This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Consolidate program requirements (financial, weight, complexity) in line with the thematic style.
• Assess advanced topics and raise issues related to incompatibilities.
• Specify part breakdown and assembly sequence.
• Create source packages (PBOM, eBOM, technical sheets, DVP&R).
• Assist in technical reviews and supplier assessments.
• Supervise master section development and 3D releases.
• Oversee design practice analysis and resolution of critical issues.
• Keep issue logs and provide weekly presentations on them.
• Perform feasibility studies for manufacturing and assembly.
• Generate technical sheets and DVP&R for new components.
• 1+ years of experience in automotive interior design or development (soft trim).
• Verified experience as a DRE, DRE support, or Product Engineer.
• Expertise in CAD tools: CATIA and/or 3DX (3DExperience).
• In-depth knowledge of GD&T, tolerances, variation analysis, and parametric design.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, feasibility assessments, interfaces, and validations.
• Understanding of DFMEA, DVPR, and technical development documentation.
• Knowledge of DFMEA/DFA, injection molding, and tooling processes.
• Experience with PLM systems, BOM management, and engineering release processes.
• Proficient in English at levels B2–C1.
