Integration Engineer Level III – Nightshift

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the design, development, and governance of enterprise-grade APIs and event-driven integration services.

• Assist in production operations by managing incidents and addressing problems effectively.

• Collaborate with Agile Program Managers, Product Managers, and Business Systems Analysts to interpret stakeholder requirements.

• Spearhead the design and development of RESTful APIs utilizing Java and Boomi/Spring Boot.

• Architect and implement scalable event-driven frameworks using Kafka or Event Hubs.

• Uphold standards for API design, security, versioning, and schema evolution.

• Ensure applications and services are resilient, scalable, and ready for production.

• Engage in hands-on development and review of ETL/ELT pipelines and Snowflake integrations.

• Participate in Agile teams, contributing to application design, coding, code reviews, testing, and progress reporting.

• Actively identify, track, and mitigate engineering risks, while managing dependencies and cross-team challenges.

• Mentor engineers and facilitate technical design discussions and code reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in API engineering with Java, Spring Boot, and Boomi.

• In-depth knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture.

• Practical experience with messaging platforms and asynchronous integrations.

• Proficient in building ETL/ELT data pipelines and familiar with Snowflake and Python.

• 3–5 years of experience in writing and debugging complex SQL, with strong data modeling capabilities.

• Experience in implementing API security measures (OAuth2, OIDC, JWT).

• Demonstrated technical leadership with accountability for production systems and support.

• Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
