Insurance Associate, Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Assist with the daily operations of a US-based insurance agency

• Evaluate incoming prospect files, which include payroll, revenue, employee counts, and operational details

• Compile and submit applications for Errors & Omissions (E&O), Directors & Officers (D&O), and Cyber Liability

• Complete ACORD applications for Workers' Compensation and general commercial Property & Casualty

• Upload underwriting packets to carrier portals or underwriters and follow up daily regarding their status

• Monitor QQCatalyst alerts for accounts that are set to expire within 60 to 90 days

• Order and assess loss runs while verifying payroll, revenue, and property values

• Collaborate with wholesale/surplus lines brokers on hard-to-place risks and gather necessary E&S documentation and fraud statements

• Manage and update employee censuses for group health prospects and renewals

• Conduct health insurance quote comparisons across various carrier portals

• Track open enrollment timelines and document plan/subsidy changes

• Respond to office phone calls and gather new client information

• Organize client files, check forms for any missing information, and send electronic welcome packets

• Assist the broker in preparing for client meetings

• Monitor renewal dates, dispatch renewal notices, collect updated client information, and file refreshed forms

• Follow up on outstanding documents

• Maintain data hygiene in QQCatalyst, including profiles, documents, effective dates, and communication logs

• Send automated renewal reminders and pursue missing underwriting information

• Aid in the collection of renewal payments and setup of EFT/ACH transfers

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience supporting a US-based independent insurance agency

• Practical experience in commercial quoting and renewals

• Proficiency in Vertafore QQCatalyst is required

• Strong preference for experience with major Property & Casualty, professional liability, and health carrier portals

• Familiarity with ACORD forms, loss runs, E&S compliance, cyber/professional supplements, and health census data
