Insurance and Contract Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provides analytical assistance to the consultant team and clients engaged in the acquisition, sale, construction, financing, and operation of various electric generation facilities.

• Responsible for reviewing and summarizing the insurance requirements specified in contracts.

• Compares the contractual insurance stipulations with the insurance requirements outlined in financing agreements for compliance.

• Prepares comprehensive tables in Word that summarize essential coverages, terms, conditions, and exclusions of insurance policies.

• Updates the content of insurance reports with contractual insurance requirements and relevant insurance policy information.

• Assists with client invoicing as necessary.

• Adheres to company protocols to safeguard confidential information and comply with client non-disclosure and confidentiality obligations.

• Retrieves FEMA flood maps and SwissRe CatNet reports for distribution to consultants.

• Executes additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience.

• Experience in casualty, energy/oil and gas, liability, and property insurance.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word—including tables, Excel, and Outlook).

• Familiarity with EPIC, Nitro, and/or Adobe, along with communication tools such as Zoom and Cisco Jabber.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Well-developed skills in time management, planning, organization, and prioritization.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and take direction from senior members.

• Capable of working independently under deadlines with minimal supervision (self-managing).

• Ability to work remotely (high-speed internet and a dedicated workspace recommended).
